Phase 1 (300 kW) of the Lueyang Black-Boned Chicken (Wuji) Industrial Park 2 MW Rooftop PV Project, engineered and delivered by CDS SOLAR, has officially completed commissioning and connected to the power grid.
This grid connection marks an important step forward in integrating clean energy into regional agricultural processing hubs, unlocking long-term economic and environmental value for local enterprise operations.

Turning Idle Roofs into Clean Energy Assets
Lueyang Black-Boned Chicken is one of the region’s signature agricultural products. As the industrial park expands its processing, packaging, and cold-chain infrastructure, energy demands during peak operational hours continue to grow.
Rather than leaving valuable rooftop real estate unused, our engineering team evaluated the structural characteristics of the facility’s main processing buildings and office blocks. CDS SOLAR custom-designed a high-efficiency rooftop PV array that directly captures solar radiation across the building footprint, turning once-idle roof surfaces into reliable, clean power generators.
Practical Engineering & Economic Impact
For this initial 300 kW phase, our project team managed the end-to-end execution—from site surveying and layout optimization to component installation, system wiring, and final grid synchronization.
Key highlights and benefits of the system include:
Cost Savings on Peak Electricity: The generated clean power directly feeds the park’s day-to-day operations, offsetting higher grid electricity tariffs during peak daytime hours.
Thermal Protection for Facilities: Solar array installation adds a protective shielding layer over the facility roofs, helping moderate internal building temperatures during hot summer months.
Carbon Reduction & Sustainability: The project measurably reduces carbon emissions while establishing a modern, low-carbon model for regional agricultural processing hubs.
Looking Ahead to Phase 2
With Phase 1 now live and actively generating electricity, our team is preparing for the subsequent project stages to bring the full 2 MW installation online.
At CDS SOLAR, we remain committed to delivering solid, high-performance commercial and industrial (C&I) solar solutions tailored to real-world operating environments. We look forward to powering more agricultural and industrial projects with reliable clean energy.
