CDS SOLAR, together with a leading Swedish investment company, recently completed an official visit to Ghana to meet with local partners regarding two major solar power projects totaling 250MW. The delegation held strategic discussions with the project owner of the 50MW and 200MW solar plants, focusing on potential collaboration under an EPC+F model.
During the visit, both sides exchanged views on technical design, financing structure, and project timelines. The Swedish investment team expressed strong interest in supporting long-term renewable energy development in Ghana, while CDS SOLAR highlighted its engineering and construction capabilities for large-scale solar installations.
The delegation also conducted an on-site assessment of the project locations to evaluate land conditions, grid connection possibilities, and overall feasibility. All parties agreed that the projects could play an important role in strengthening Ghana’s clean energy capacity and supporting the country’s growing electricity demand.
Following the visit, CDS SOLAR and the Swedish partners will continue working with the Ghanaian client to advance detailed proposals and prepare for the next stage of cooperation.
